Chía is the gateway to the northern Sabana and, for many families, the first move out of Bogotá without giving up the city. The Autopista Norte and the Cota bypass put it about 25 minutes from the capital's north, making it one of the most liquid rental markets in the region.
The town blends university, commercial and residential life. Around Universidad de La Sabana there is steady demand for student and faculty housing, while gated communities toward Yerbabuena and the Cajicá road draw families looking for green space and nearby schools.
